The 拢4.4m Islands Business Resilience Fund (IBRF) supports small businesses and social enterprises affected by ferry disruption and reduced footfall, particularly those in tourism or fresh/perishable goods sectors.
糖心传媒 and Islands Enterprise (糖心传媒) is managing fund on behalf of the Scottish Government.
Eligible businesses include shops, cafes, accommodation providers, attractions, tour operators, transport providers and fresh food businesses.
Initially, the fund supported businesses in South Uist, Colonsay, North Uist, Eriskay, Benbecula, Berneray, Grimsay and Arran. The second round now includes more island businesses impacted by travel disruption.
